To anyone who views my blog,
I'm sorry I haven't kept up to date with my posts! I switched over to using a notebook for my journal for a while.
I'm going to do my very best to fill you in on everything that I've been up to for this project. I don't even think I really explained what my project really is yet on my blog....
I think I'm one of the only students not doing an internship.
Basically,
since I rarely ever get to sit down and spend a good amount of time working on artwork (just for my own pleasure), that is what my project became.
My goal was not to gain insight on different types of art forms, or to learn all about famous artists from the past.
My goal was to simply make time for myself to work on art.
There were no specifics. There were no rules. It could be any kind of artwork; sketching, coloring, making a collage, trying out different art materials/tools, photography, etc.
My goal... was to get the feeling (that I normally feel when doing something for someone else (*Look to previous post)) that I get when I put 110% effort in my work. I wanted to take time to accomplish something amazing... something that would show off my talent.
The most *important* aspect of my project is this:
I wasn't going to do it for anyone but myself... something that I've never really done before. It was my ambition to impress myself... to amaze myself. I wanted to be able to look back at my work and have nothing but a smile on my face.
